The Aukey B01AAETL6Y PCI Express card with 2 USB 3.1 Type-C ports does work on the 3,1, 4,1 and 5,1 Mac Pro, and can deliver a full 10 gigabits per second transfer speed from each port. The Card is: USB 3.0 ExpressCard HBU3MAC 2-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Card (Mac Version) I downloaded and installed the drivers but the speed is still compairable to USB 2.0. I checked my system preferences on the driver / USB Hardware and the drive is recognized as speeds up to 480mb/ sec.
