Chatham County Residents – $5 off DAY tickets with proof of residence at the gate.
3Chatham residents can also receive $20 off of 4-day gate price either at the gate or in advance by stopping at a ticket outlet to verify the address with a valid NC Driver’s License.

Senior Citizens (60+) – $5 off DAY tickets at the gate

Military Veterans– $5 off DAY tickets at the gate with identification

Students -$5 off DAY tickets with student ID at the gate

Group Rates -$5 off each ticket for groups of 10 or more (please contact us for group sales)

Youth (13-15) Single Day Tickets: available at the ticket booth only. Thursday $15, Friday $23, Saturday $23, Sunday $18. Must be accompanied by a parent (or guardian 18 or older). These prices include tax.

Youth Policy

Children 12 and under not allowed without a parent present. Youth one-day and four-day passes will not be sold to youth without a parent (or guardian 18 or older) present. Although this is a family friendly festival, and kids of all ages are welcome, we cannot be responsible for youngsters here without adult supervision.

Refunds

We are sorry, but we are not able to provide refunds. All ticket sales are final. We can no longer transfer tickets to a later festival.

In the event of cancellation, tickets will be transferred to the next possible festival.

What’s up, readers!? All signs point to Spring! Aside from a few chilly mornings, there is no denying that Spring is officially here. Time to break out of the woodwork and start filling your days with sunshine! No plans? No problem! Here at The Jamwich we’ve got you covered with a hand-selected batch of this week’s tastiest jamsand funkiest performances. Here’s what’s up this week.

Get ready for four days jam-packed with live music, camping, craft & food vending and endless fun! The annual Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance is back, and better than ever! Donna The Buffalo, and their friends over at Foothills Brewing and That Station 95.7 encourage everyone to come out and have a good time. Tons of activities are scheduled for each day: advocacy groups will be on-site to educate others and spread the word about their causes, learn about healing arts, make some indigenous crafts, listen to a lecture on the importance of honey bees and how to be a bee keeper, watch an interactive blacksmithing demonstration and much more! Live music will be provided by Donna The Buffalo, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Turkuaz, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Zach Deputy and over 50 other talented groups and artists. Purchase you tickets in advance and save yourself a bit of cash. Four day passes are on sale for $119, with prices increasing about $20 at the gate. Single day passes are also available. Parking is not included in your tickets, however, cars that arrive with four or more passengers get to park for free. Otherwise its $10 for the weekend, or $5 per day. Kids under 12 enter for free. Head on down to Sleepy Creek on the Potomac in Berkeley Springs, WV for Sleepy Creek SpringDig, an affordable, enjoyable and family friendly music festival! Tunes provided by Jeff Austin Band, Drew Emmitt & Andy Thorn, Rumpke Mountain Boys, Jon Stickley Trio, The Jakob Ferry Stranglers, Better Off Dead, and many more! New to the festival this year is “rain insurance.” Basically, if it rains a certain amount during peak festival hours you can get a refund for your ticket. To learn more about the details head to the festival’s official site. Weekend passes are currently on sale for $100, with parking and camping included in your ticket price. RV camping is an extra $20, pets carry a $10 per-animal fee, and early arrival is an option for another $10. See you at the creek!

Make way for the jam-band wrecking ball, The Jauntee, as they cruise the region this week for a series of performances that you won’t want to miss. As of late, the band, which got its start in Cambridge, MA, has been gaining the attention of veteran heads, new-age hippies, and those who are just breaking into the scene. The Jauntee is Scott Ferber on drums, Caton Sollenberger on guitar, Tyler Adams on keyboard, and John Loland on bass. Check them out this week at Nowhere Bar in Athens, GA (04/29), Doc Taylor’s in Virginia Beach, VA (05/02), The 8×10 in Baltimore, MD (05/03), and Parish Public House in Albany, NY (05/04).
